Kenneth Grahame’s Wind in the Willows (adapted by Alan Bennett) - Thursday 24 - Saturday 26 May

Are you a bumptious toad, a home loving mole, wise old badger or maybe a kind and friendly ratty? Follow the four friends in this family comedy classic as they enjoy messing about in boats and join them in fighting off the dastardly weasels in the big wild wood and beyond!

Brimming with local talent, 31 actors of all ages and Stonesfield’s fantastic rock band – The Village Idiots - bring you an exuberant village performance full of music and laughter. Stonesfield Players extraordinary production includes original music by BAFTA award winning composer Nicholas Hooper, set design by 2012 Olivier nominated Michael Taylor (The Ladykillers) and lighting by Cannes and BAFTA Award winning film director Chris Bartle. Stonesfield Village Hall is being transformed into a magical riverbank, with lots of hidden surprises!

Come along and be part of this exciting theatrical experience at Stonesfield Village Hall Thursday May 24th – Saturday May 26th at 7.30pm with an additional 2pm matinee on Saturday May 26th. Tickets £8 (concessionary seats for under 16s and over 60s £5). Under 5’s may sit on benches at the front (£3) – bench tickets available from Jenny Lines only.
